Our Digital Projects
the Right Foundation
At Digital Pizza Design, we know that a great website—like a great pizza—is all about the base. The Content Management System (CMS) you choose defines how your site scales, how secure it stays, and how easy it is for your team to manage day-to-day.
WordPress
The Crowd-Pleaser | Flexible, Famous, & User-Friendly Powering over 40% of the web, WordPress is the most popular CMS in the world for a reason. It is the deep-dish of the digital world: hearty, reliable, and loaded with options.
Drupal
Drupal is the artisanal sourdough base—complex to create, but robust enough to hold the heaviest toppings. It is the choice for government bodies, universities, and large enterprises that handle massive amounts of data.
Umbraco
If WordPress is a pre-set menu and Drupal is a buffet, Umbraco is the private chef. Known as the “Friendly CMS,” it is built on the Microsoft .NET framework and offers a blank canvas for developers to build exactly what you need—nothing more, nothing less.
Our Project Recipe
At Digital Pizza Design, we don’t just throw ingredients at a wall. We follow a proven, end-to-end recipe to ensure your project comes out perfectly baked every single time. Here is how we manage your project from the first knead to the final slice.
The Prep (Discovery & Strategy)
“The Cradle.” Every great pizza starts with the dough. We begin by rolling up our sleeves to understand your business goals, target audience, and technical requirements. We don’t touch a pixel until we have the right foundation.
- What happens: Stakeholder workshops, competitor research, sitemap planning, and selecting the right CMS crust (WordPress, Drupal, or Umbraco).
The Toppings (Design & UI/UX)
“Visualizing the Flavor.” This is where the flavor profile comes to life. We layer on the user experience (UX) strategies and visual design (UI) elements that define your brand. We create high-fidelity mockups so you can see exactly what you are ordering before it goes into the oven.
- What happens: Wireframing, visual design prototypes, user journey mapping, and design approval.
The Bake (Development & QA)
“Rising to the Occasion,” We slide your project into the development oven. Our developers code your custom solution, integrating the CMS and ensuring everything is responsive, fast, and secure. We watch the temperature closely—testing rigorously to ensure no bugs burn the crust.
- What happens: Front-end and back-end coding, CMS integration, mobile responsiveness testing, and security checks.
Delivery & Leftovers (Rollout & Maintenance)
“The Grave” (and beyond) Ding! It’s ready. We handle the launch logistics to ensure a smooth transition to your live server. But we don’t just drop the box at your door and run. We stick around for “The Leftovers”—ongoing support and optimization to keep your site fresh for days (and years) to come.
- What happens: Final launch, team training, post-launch support, and monthly maintenance plans.
